In 1996, Eminem released his first album titled 'Infinite' In 1997, Eminem developed an anti-social alter-ego named 'Slim Shady' to let go of the tension rising inside him. The two friends split from 'Soul Intent' and formed their own group in 1996. Eminem initially rapped with a band named the 'New Jacks.' He later switched to the band 'Soul Intte,' which released a single in 1995, featuring Eminem and Proof. Eminem learned lengthy terms and phrases that rhymed with each other to excel in literature. The two rappers took part in most of these music events at West 7 Mile, in Detroit. The pair called themselves 'Manix' and 'M&M' and the latter would in turn become Eminem. Eminem was just 14 when he started rapping with his friend Mike Ruby.
